Meet Our Managers
For nearly a decade, five of those years with Dudley, our Human Resources Manager, Annika Elliott, has overseen all functions involved with employee relations, labor law compliance, and workforce management. Annika always knew she had a passion for people — she actually began her career working with children. She later sought a career that allowed her to work closely with others and truly make a difference, and that she does. Annika received her Master’s degree in HR Management and Business Administration from Oklahoma Christian University. Aside from the fact that she’s an HR all-star, she’s also a world class baker (she makes a killer cheesecake)! She believes that if you can make someone’s day better with a sweet treat, then that’s the ultimate gratification. When she’s not at the office or spending time feeding the office, you can find Annika traveling and spending time with her friends, family, and fiancé.
Blake joins the Dudley team as a Prospect Manager with a degree in Petroleum Land and Resource Management and nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. He’s worked in several states and has done everything from buying leases to title examination and curative. Now, his main focus at Dudley Land is diligent execution on client projects, workflows, reports, and all other needs. He’s enthusiastic about growing existing relationships and building new ones. When Blake isn’t watching his kids play soccer, listening to live music with his wife, or making his family cringe with his dad jokes, you can find him in the water or in the woods, fishing and hunting.
Brandon Dodds is a Prospect Manager in our Houston office. He was pre-med during college and worked as a real estate abstractor on the side. After a little burnout from the science courses, he decided to take a year off before going to med school. A family friend suggested he work as a landman for a while, so he gave it a shot. At this point, it seems like the med school thing may never happen for him (lucky for us). During projects, he coordinates with clients, manages contractors, and works on developing new business for the company. He lives in the Woodlands, so he’s easy to access for clients north of Houston. Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his wife, two children, and their dog. And, believe it or not, he can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under 30 seconds.
Bryce is a Prospect Manager for Dudley Land Company. He’s worked for us in East Texas, Denver, Midland, and is now based in Houston. He’s been there for about three years, which means it’s probably about time for us to move him to a different office. Bryce earned a degree in Biology but quickly realized that it wasn’t the career he wanted. He started working as a landman 16 years ago and since then has worked in four offices and 20 different states for Dudley. He’s done a little bit of everything when it comes to field land work, from project management to due diligence. Like his work for Dudley, his personal interests are all over the board. He likes hunting, fishing, golfing, and poker. He has two beautiful children and has never encountered a problem he couldn’t solve or a project he couldn’t tackle if he put his mind to it. That’s why he’s an asset to our team.
A Pennsylvania native, Dan got his start with Dudley almost 15 years ago. What originally started as a “summer job” has turned into Dan doing nearly every kind of work Dudley offers clients. He’s worked his way up in the company and now, as a Prospect Manager in our Pittsburgh office, he manages projects in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and West Virginia. His goal is to meet client expectations for timeline and budget while also providing the best quality product possible. Dan is a family man, preferring to spend most of his free time with his wife, Kaytee, and their two sons. Outside of family time, he also plays a mean game of cornhole.
Grant has been with Dudley Land Co. since 2011. He started with us as a Contract Landman and has worked his way up in the company. In his current role as a Prospect Manager in our Pittsburgh office, he is responsible for organizing, planning, budgeting, and reporting for projects across the oil and gas industry and the renewable energy industry. He’s a member of the AAPL and MLBC and is the Secretary of the Pittsburgh chapter of the IRWA. Grant originally dipped his toe into the industry when he unexpectedly ran into a friend from across the pond who was in the States because of oil and gas. His friend encouraged him to take some classes to learn about the energy industry, and the rest is history. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and traveling.
Jason Harding has 15 years of landman experience with Dudley Land Company. Over the years, Jason’s tenacity and attention to detail have helped him advance in the company. He spent his first five years with Dudley as a contract landman in Nacogdoches, TX. In 2012, he was promoted to Project Coordinator. A few years later, he made the move to Midland where he, once again, earned an advancement in the company. Now he runs the Midland office as its Prospect Manager. In his current role, Jason is responsible for organizing and overseeing projects that include curative, leasing, due-diligence, service, and abstracting. He also dedicates time to organizing events for existing and potential clients. Jason’s claim to fame is the 42 points he scored in a highschool basketball game.
Kyle Blair is a Prospect Manager for Dudley Land Company in our Oklahoma City office. He is responsible for overseeing business development, resource allocation, and personnel management. As a self-described “geeky artist at heart,” Kyle got his professional start working as a designer in the field of architecture. In 2012, he made the leap to the oil & gas industry where his background in design and attention to detail served as a foundation to set him up for success. For the past decade, Kyle has been applying his cross-professional expertise to deliver a work product capable of meeting and exceeding the already lofty standards of Dudley Land Company.
Natalie has become a valuable asset in the energy industry, specializing in land management and title curative issues. She's got a talent for chasing and closing deals, organizing projects from concept to finish, and coaching agents through landowner negotiations. She loves working in the land industry because she's always learning something new. Hailing from Beaumont, TX, Natalie and her husband have made a home in Shiner, TX, where they've taken on the rewarding task of raising two adopted daughters. At Dudley, Natalie brings enthusiasm and dedication to our team, sharing her wealth of knowledge and expertise with our clients and contract land agents.
Rebecca is our Accounting Officer and Secretary Treasurer. She leads the accounting operations out of our Oklahoma City office. Being the ambitious person she is, she began working in the accounting field part-time after graduating high school, and continued working in the field while earning her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Oklahoma. She joined Dudley Land Company in 2008 as a billing clerk and has grown with the company over the course of her 13 years. When she’s not crunching numbers, Rebecca loves traveling, soaking up the sun, and spending quality time with her son and other loved ones.
For 14 years, Tim Jackson has been making a name for himself in the oil & gas industry. Growing up in East Texas, Tim saw oil as a way of life and family tradition, with parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents on both sides deeply invested in the industry. When Tim passed the Texas State Bar in 2007, he knew his law degree would provide a strong base for all things relating to contracts and property law – and it definitely has. As a Prospect Manager, Tim leads the way on lease acquisition, curative work, and title deliverables for new projects. When he’s not hard at work, you can find Tim hunting, fishing, or traveling the world. His destinations have included Europe, Central and South America, and Australia.
As a Prospect Manager in our Pittsburgh office, Travis Powell runs projects throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. During different times in his decade with Dudley, he’s worked on title abstracting, leasing, curative, due diligence, and more. Now, he oversees project teams to ensure that they’re on time, on budget, and that client deliverables are consistent across the board. In his free time, you can usually find Travis with his family. Living just outside of Pittsburgh allows Travis to spend a great deal of time outside where he can fish with his son and care for a menagerie of animals his wife has collected.
